Dominance stories ars not my cup of tea. Was enjoying the conflict between the main characters, then the author went and introduced the character of Isiah, and closed the story.
Wow, this was really pretty good for being so short I got so much backstory and information, but not enough to fill you in completely. It leaves you wanting more.
This one just didn't do it for me. Even though it was incredibly short, I found myself not caring about the next three or four in the series. Isiah was an unlikeable character to say the least and I wasn't happy with Forrest saying he loved Ben, then getting it on with his pack leader. I'll pass.
Of course this teaser is a gateway to buy the series. I may have misunderstood some sentences. But I felt like I was reading in stereo...
The story line is well written. I am interested enough that I will purchase the rest of the books to see how the characters develop.
there are four other episodes to this series. I am very curious as to how this will play out but sadly I will not be reading the others. I can not justify paying a $1.00 for 20 something pages a piece. That's just ridiculous!! This author would have been better off making all these episodes into one 5 star book, that would be worth it.
I read episode 1 after getting it free to explore a unknown author. The story I found interesting however the following episodes also very short and I have lost interest with what amounts to be 99 cents for a chapter.
I'm not into short stories and if I enjoy it the longer the better.
If I come across a book by Jacob which is say longer then 250 pages I will probably buy it. Any shorter I find it not worth my time.
I gave it one star because of the length.
